From my recollection they don't but their sushi is top-notch and Portland craft is steps away if you wanted to grab a drink after
The portion and price were very good and reasonable. The restaurant is small but it always seem busy. Operated by authentic Japanese. Overall great experience. Will come again.
This is a great place to get tasty yet affordable sushi. I would highly recommend the combo's (dynamite combo is my personal favourite). Around 1:00pm and 6:30pm it gets really busy so try to come a bit earlier, but it's well worth the wait!
Good food + pricing. Cozy interior, not wheelchair friendly. Quiet atmosphere. A few chairs are available at the entrance for the waitlist.
Small place but delicious sushi. Would likely order take out next time.
Price is reasonable and quality is great. It was worth to visit.
I’ve dined here a handful of times and the service and food has always been excellent! The sushi is so fresh and the servers are very attentive and friendly. This is by far my favourite sushi place on the North Shore.
Average sushi at a reasonable price.
Very passable, above average sushi for a really good price. The review saying it's expensive is insane. It's also not the best in town but it is amazing value for the money. The service is quite good (it's a busy place) The portions are decent sized.
My favorite fairly cheap sushi! Love the tuna/salmon combo with wild salmon. The udon is pretty good, and the have some solid lunch and dinner combo options. This isn't a high end sushi location, so don't expect that, but the fish tastes fresh, the rolls are tasty, the portion sizes are good, and it's well priced.
Good sushi and amazing combos/deals
One of my favorite budget sushi places in Vancouver, just know they are Korean run but don't let that stop you from going as these people serve some amazing sushi. They do not have liquor here, and they do not over 'rice' the sushi where other places give you big pieces to trick you here they do not, quality in every bite. I have even gotten to know Sophie who serves me, and it's always a happy site. Come here and have some good eats at a fair price.
Good price to quality & amount ratio. Fish was fresh and delicious. Rolls were not particularly creative but at the price point they were adequate.
Amazingly sushi! Fresh and well make it! Staff lovely and kind , definitely I will be back after this terrific situation of the virus!
Amazing food at great prices. Yam tempura was very crispy, light, and delicious. Brown rice options available! Service excellent
Small space. Small portions. Small price. This sushi restaurant is located on a busy strip on Main Street, across from the Sun Sui Wah Chinese Seafood Restaurant. During peak hours, there is often a long wait and sometimes even a line out the door. People are probably drawn here because of the decent food at affordable prices. There are also a lot of takeout customers. The size of their rolls is smaller than most, mainly due to having less rice on the perimeter. Their chicken Karaage is highly recommended, with a crispy shell and lots of garlic taste! Gyoza are tiny, by decent. Expect to pay $25-30 to feed two people.
Great atmosphere, delicious food and perfect jazz background music as a final touch. All at reasonable prices :-)I highly recommend the California cone. Delicious!!
The food was great and the price is very affordable! I quite liked their sushi pizza, I would order that again. Their sashimi was good and I appreciated that they packed their ginger and wasabi separately from the sushi for our takeout order. Their roll party tray (47 pieces) is definitely a steal at $20!!! They were quite busy when we came during dinner hours so we waited half an hour for our take out order, but it was definitely worth the wait! I will definitely come back! They also had lunch and dinner combos/deals and they have a variety of foods on their menu. The staff were very nice, and the location is convenient.
I'm sure this restaurant is the best sushi in VancouverExpect everything, the flavor is perfect .... 👍♡ Especially you have to eat salmon sashimi or rolls ! I recommend eating about salmon is duty for everyone !!! And prawn 🍤 tempura !!!!!!!!And I love Crunch roll !!! It's always awesome 👏 The reasonable price and good atmosphereThe sushi mania is the best Japanese restaurant in Canada 🇨🇦
The dish is prepared quickly, the staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and there is no reason not to recommend it.
Great neighborhood sushi place. Korean ran. Focused menu mostly on sushi and not necessarily cooked food. The nori is crisp and the fish is fresh. It's not Tojo, Toshi, or Ajisai with melt in your mouth like toro, but for the price, this is a really good piece of fish. The rice needs a bit more seasoning in my opinion. Made to order. Efficient. Friendly. Recommend.
Friendly staff, generous sashimi pieces, super cozy, and reasonable prices. I strongly recommend this place!
Good sushi, great service, and super friendly staff!Best sushi in the main/king Edward area. Try the yam and avocado roll. Simple roll, but simply fantastic. Only downside is they charge extra for wild salmon, which is fairly standard these days but still disappointing. Would love to see them stop serving farmed salmon all together like some other fantastic sushi restaurants have started doing.
Friendly staff! Quick service. Take out took avout 7 mins. They have great combo deals! Yam tempura roll kindof fell apart though.
You need to tey this guys! Specially the chicken katsu, and there tempura and combo sushi 👌🏻👌🏻 Include the relaxing sound they have 😁and of course cheap and affordable. 😋
This is a hidden gem in a town with lots of sushi options. The quality of my food was outstanding. The service was good. Be aware it is a very small location, so you may have a wait. If you have to wait, it's worth it! Prices are very fair too!
I got the sushi all day special for takeout dinner during the pandemic, and it tasted so good and felt so nice not to cook after cooking at home for a month. I missed sushi so much and it was the perfect place to takeout and was food of comfort and deliciousness during this time! Thank you for the fantastic service and yummy food.
Good value sushi. You get what you pay for most definitely, and at that I would say this is a good place if you're not too picky with your sushi quality.
Good sushi spot. They have an awesome all day deal and interesting original rolls.
Cheap and delicious sushi. They are very generous with portions. The staff here is friendly and quick to serve. Lots of seating in here. Pricing is about $12 for 3 diff items with miso. Lunch specials here are even cheaper.
Really good for the price we paid. The Alaskan roll with the wild salmon tasted really good. The miso soup was warming and the saltiness got the appetite going. The one critique I would have is that their rolls were loose. But the atmosphere was lovely, especially on a rainy melancholy Vancouver day. And their lunch price was amazing.
Best sushi in the area hands down. Super fresh sushi at a reasonable price too. They recently increased their prices by a tiny bit but still definitely worth it. Although, we moved out of the area, we always make the drive out to support a local business. Great food, great staff, great value.
My favorite go-to sushi place in Vancouver. I always get the Mania roll or Big Bang roll. For the quality of food, I’m always pleasantly surprised at how affordable it is when the bill comes.
Excellent food. The other positive reviewers know their stuff. Very much enjoyed the experience. The prices were quite reasonable and the quality was excellent.
Sushi Mania is a real cute little place. There's complementary tea, and a filling meal can cost only 10 dollars. It can get crowded at dinnertime, but that only adds to the cozy atmosphere. The waitresses are all lovely and extremely polite. Definitely a place to check out for casual dinner!
Pretty good! They were out of Toro, even though it was early in the evening (5:30pm)The sushi arrived very quickly, but the appetizers didn't arrive until after we'd eaten all the sushi...Essentially, any dishes or rolls that require deep frying take a long time.Quality was very good though, salmon sashimi was delicious~
Love their sushi! Lunch menu is a great price
Food was good. Service was good. One thing to note is that your whole party must be present before they will seat you.
Good sushi, good service, good price. What more could you ask for?
Sushimania's been our been favourite 'go to' for sushi since it opened. It's a cozy lil' place with affordable prices, friendly and efficient service and decent food. Our last take out was a bit of a surprise as we weren't aware of the sudden spike in its menu prices. We were still in possession of its old menu, so when we received the bill we were so blown away by the 30% increase. We understand that prices go up, but 30% is extremely noticeable. Gradual increase in prices are a lot easier to accept. However, we love to support our local businesses and will continue our patronage with Sushimania as long as there's not another surprising price increase.
Fresh, delicious sushi at very reasonable prices. The place is small and unassuming, but despite the size, even in the dead of a mid afternoon on a weekday, there were people waiting to be seated. They know this place is good. The staff is über helpful, everything is clean and proper. The service is quick and friendly. A+!
Our favourite local sushi spot!! Very reasonably priced for Vancouver, always fresh, and big portions. Would highly recommend the chicken katsu, and honestly even their simple sushi rolls are always delicious. Their combos are around $10 and SO filling. The rice is well cooked, the rolls have lots of filling, and their cooked items are always piping hot and crispy. Sometimes their food can take a bit longer than other places, but I always feel like it’s because they’re putting effort into the food and making everything fresh. I never mind waiting either because the servers are all very attentive and friendly :)
In this pandemic time and lots of cooking at home, we decided to try something new.Ussualy we order sushi from another places.🍣 was very delicious, tasty and fresh. We love it and ordered one more time , shortly after. So this sushi is really the best one we had!Stuff nice and friendly.Price is well for the quality and food taste.Wairin time short.
Best sushi in town at very affordable pricing! Definitely try their sushi pizza!!
Good little sushi spot. The rolls were fresh.
Our go-to place for Sushi dine-in and takeout. Cozy restaurant with attentive service. Dinner specials are a good deal.
Very friendly, good food. Small space, but you can always do take out if they are busy and full. Prices middle of the road.
I was here on January 28th, Tuesday and needed some yummy lunch that day. Sushi Mania was the perfect spot in this neigbourhood so I went in. Waiting was not too bad. I got Alaska Combo ($10.95) it was tasty. Miso soup was good as well. I thought their sushi rolls seemed to be smaller than before; anyways my experience here was wonderful. Service was attentive.
I have been dreaming of this place since I first tried it a few weeks ago. The prices are very reasonable & everything we ordered was delicious. The two items I always look for on a sushi menu are Spicy Sashimi Salad & Tuna Gomae, they had both & they were both exactly what I was looking for. Both the hot sauce & the gomae sauce were so delicious I think I could drink them. The gomae sauce was so good I asked for a side order of it for the tuna sashimi we ordered & my partner & I were fighting over it, it was that good. My partner also ordered the sushi pizza & one of their special rolls which he throughly enjoyed. The only downside to this place is that it's very small so there's a good chance you might have a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it. The service is quick & friendly. Definitely a nice little spot for couples or small parties of maybe 4-6. If you are larger group than that they may not be able to accommodate you.
Lovely place. Family of four ate for $68 before tip. Gomae and wild salmon sashimi was delicious. Servers were friendly and quick. Space was warm. Tuna Tataki was nicely presented though not as flavourful as others. Would definitely recommend overall.
The service was pretty good but there was only a handful of tables so not much to cover. Our waitress that served us was very friendly and very nice. The Sushi here is very inexpensive but it is reflected in the portion size and quality.I always get Negitoro roll and like always dissect it. The belly was a little fishy but still edible, with the soy sauce and wasabi, you could almost not notice. My California roll, some pieces didn't even have avocado in it, I checked both sides. Would I go back? possibly. There are lots of regulars as the waitress knew a few tables, perhaps they live nearby, perhaps they just really like the cheap price of the sushi. Regardless of the fact, if you want sushi on the cheap, this place may fit the bill.Sep 20, 2016
